Easy transfers to and in Anjuna Beach
- Choose a hotel inland with a pool and lift or ground-floor rooms, and use a taxi for the beach. Steps and rocky paths down to the sand are uneven.
- Avoid the south end on party nights if you want to sleep; music can carry well into the night during the season.
- Carry water, a hat and sunscreen, and confirm that a shack is open before walking the full length of the beach.
- Ask the airline or railway for wheelchair or porter assistance when you book, not on the day.
- Pre-book the pickup from the airport or station, so nobody has to negotiate with drivers after a long journey.
- Choose arrivals in daylight where you can, and keep the first afternoon free to rest.
