What the service is
Raahzo Concierge Companion is travel assistance and coordination. Depending on the level you choose, it can include remote check-ins, arrival assistance, a local day companion or a companion who travels with the guest. Our role is to make the trip easier: handling logistics, pacing, tickets and queues, keeping the family informed, and escalating quickly when something goes wrong.
What the service is not
- It is not medical care, nursing care or doctor-level support. Companions are not medical professionals.
- It is not a guarantee of safety, and it is not an emergency rescue service.
- Companions cannot administer medication, perform physical transfers that need trained carers, or make medical decisions.
If a traveller needs clinical support, please arrange a qualified carer; we can coordinate around them.
Traveller health declaration
Before we confirm concierge support, the person booking will be asked to share, with the traveller's consent, relevant mobility, medical and dietary information, and to confirm that the traveller is fit to travel for the planned itinerary. We use this only to plan pacing and support and to brief the assigned companion. Incomplete or inaccurate information may limit what we can safely offer.
Emergency contact and escalation
- Every concierge booking requires an emergency contact who can make decisions for the traveller.
- In an emergency, the companion or our team will contact local emergency services first, then the emergency contact and the person who booked.
- We will help coordinate transport to the nearest appropriate facility and keep the family updated, but we cannot guarantee response times of third parties.
Insurance
We strongly recommend travel and health insurance that covers the traveller's age and pre-existing conditions, including hospitalisation and evacuation where relevant. Raahzo does not sell insurance.
Companion and partner verification
- Companions complete identity verification and a background check before their first assignment.
- Partners (operators, hotels, drivers) are verified by phone and documents such as business registration and GST where applicable.
- We collect feedback after every trip and remove partners who do not meet our standards.
Liability
Services such as hotels, transport and entry tickets are provided by independent third parties under their own terms. Our liability is limited to the concierge fee paid to Raahzo for the affected service, except where the law does not allow such a limit. Full terms are in our terms of use.
