Pacing
Pacing a Bhainsrorgarh trip for parents and children
- Book the fort stay early and ask about ground-floor rooms and step access.
- Visit the fort at a slow pace; lanes and stairs are uneven and stone surfaces get hot by midday.
- Hire a car with a driver from Kota or Chittorgarh; local transport is limited and distances are long.
- Carry water, snacks and medicines; Rawatbhata is the nearest place for supplies.
- Choose October to March for comfortable days, and avoid April to June when heat is severe.
- Keep the dam and Baroli visit to cooler morning hours, since shade is limited.
