Pacing

Pacing a Gadwal trip for parents and children

  • Do the fort and temples early in the morning; the ground is uneven and there is little shade.
  • Hire a car for Alampur and Jurala rather than relying on buses.
  • Carry water and snacks; facilities outside the town are limited.
  • Avoid April and May; heat can be severe.
  • Remove footwear at temples and take a cloth for hot floors.
  • Confirm timings and access locally before driving out to Jurala.
