The short answer
Spice Garden: what visitors should know first
A reasonable choice if you want familiar Indian flavours on the hill. It is not a pure-vegetarian restaurant, so vegetarians and Jains should confirm ingredients and cooking practices before ordering.

Why it matters
Why Spice Garden is worth your time
Indian travellers often struggle with food at Genting, where most restaurants are Chinese, Malaysian, Thai or Western. Spice Garden is one of the few places listed as Indian in the resort.
It does not carry a vegetarian-only tag, and we do not claim it is. Its value is as a familiar option in the hotel, with vegetarian dishes on the menu that you can order and check in person, rather than relying on a label.

How to experience it
Spice Garden is in the Genting Grand complex, so it is easy to combine with a stay there or a ride on the Genting SkyWay.
The resort's dining guide lists Indian dishes with some Middle Eastern items, cooked in a tandoor. Vegetarian choices named there include palak paneer, garlic naan, multi-grain naan, mushroom biryani and vegetable pulao.
Because the restaurant also serves non-vegetarian food, ask how vegetarian dishes are cooked and whether they use ghee, cream, onion or garlic. Jain diners should ask directly; we found no confirmation of Jain preparation.
Plan with confidence
