Daily buses link Pratapgarh with Mandsaur, Neemuch, Ratlam, Banswara, Dungarpur, Chittorgarh and Udaipur. Driving from Chittorgarh takes about 2.5 to 3 hours.
Getting around Pratapgarh
Taxis and a car with driver are the practical choice for the sanctuary, Gautameshwar and Devgarh. Autos and e-rickshaws cover short hops in town but not the outlying sights.
For parents and senior travellers
Easy transfers to and in Pratapgarh
- Plan only one major outing a day. Distances between Sita Mata, Gautameshwar and the town are long and some roads are rough.
- Hire a car with a driver for the whole stay. Public transport does not reach the sights conveniently.
