The short answer
Berenjak: what visitors should know first

Why it matters
Why Berenjak is worth your time
Persian cooking is less common on Indian travellers' itineraries than Lebanese or Pakistani food, yet it shares the charcoal grill and rice-and-bread habits many families already enjoy. Berenjak gives a sit-down introduction without leaving Sharjah.
Two independent guides name it, which is why it is added here, but both are short descriptions. We have not verified the menu, prices or hours, so treat this as a lead to confirm rather than a tested recommendation.

How to experience it
Berenjak's pitch, according to Fact Magazines, is charcoal-grilled kebabs and small sharing plates inspired by Tehran. Platinum List calls it a cosy spot with Iranian dishes and the same combination of small plates and kebabs.
The sharing format suits a family: order a few plates for the table and one or two kebab portions per couple, rather than one main each. Older relatives who prefer softer food should ask the staff which dishes are mild and which are heavily spiced.
Because the menu is kebab-led, it is a poor default for pure vegetarian or Jain travellers, and we did not find a menu to say what vegetarian dishes exist. We did not see a vegetarian menu for this restaurant, so Jain and strict vegetarian guests should ask the staff before booking. If your group is mixed, check the plate list in advance.
