Pernem (PERN) on the Konkan Railway is the nearest station in the taluka. Thivim (THVM), near Mapusa, is about 22 km from Ashwem, roughly 45 minutes by car. Neither is at the beach, so plan a taxi onward.
How to reach Ashwem Beach by road
Ashwem is on the Morjim-Ashvem road in Pernem taluka, reached via Mapusa and Siolim, or from the north via Mopa and Pernem. Buses run to Mapusa, with taxis for the final stretch.
Getting around Ashwem Beach
Taxis and pre-booked cars are easiest. Scooters and bikes are available to rent, but the beach road is busy in season. Agree fares in advance, and book evening transfers before dinner.

Easy transfers to and in Ashwem Beach
