NOW! Bali describes about 100 seats, concrete, stone and timber finishes, an open kitchen and a string-lit courtyard for drinks before dinner.
The guides name a smoked tuna dip, a giant Papuan prawn, wood-fired bread pudding, wood-fired flatbread with chilli hummus, spiced cauliflower with pomegranate and pine nuts, barramundi, and a slow-cooked short rib. Vegetarians could build a meal from the hummus, flatbread and cauliflower, but neither guide discusses vegetarian options, so ask about stocks, butter and shared grills.
