Pacing
Pacing a Chandipur trip for parents and children
- The beach walk is flat and slow, but there is little shade; carry a hat, water and a folding seat if needed.
- Check the day's low-tide time so you do not wait in the heat or get caught as the water returns.
- Panchalingeswar involves wet rock and lying down to touch the lingas; older visitors can still enjoy the setting from the rim.
- Choose midweek mornings for Remuna and Nilagiri temples to avoid queues and the midday floor heat.
- Hotels are simple; ask about ground-floor rooms and lift access, and confirm hot water and power backup.
- Hospitals and specialist care are in Balasore or Bhubaneswar, so carry regular medicines for the trip.
