Easy transfers to and in Daman
- Do the forts in the first two or three hours after opening; shade is scarce and humidity makes midday walking tiring.
- Choose a hotel with a lift and easy car access, and ask whether it has its own restaurant, since choice nearby can be limited.
- Ask the airline or railway for wheelchair or porter assistance when you book, not on the day.
- Pre-book the pickup from the airport or station, so nobody has to negotiate with drivers after a long journey.
- Choose arrivals in daylight where you can, and keep the first afternoon free to rest.
