The short answer
Cadlao Resort Restaurant: what visitors should know first
Choose this for a quieter, seafront dinner with a view of Cadlao Island, not a quick town meal. It sits outside the centre, so plan transport both ways, and confirm menu and hours as the resort site does not show them.

Why it matters
Why Cadlao Resort Restaurant is worth your time
Most of El Nido's popular dining is packed along the beachfront streets in town. A resort restaurant outside the centre trades convenience for space and a view of Cadlao Island, which is useful for an anniversary dinner or for older travellers who find the town crowded.
Two separate pages, the tourism listing and Getting Stamped, name it, and the resort's own website confirms the beachfront restaurant exists. The limit is information: no menu or prices were published on the pages we opened, so ask before you commit to an evening there.

What not to miss
- 01
Island view
The resort site describes views of Cadlao Island and El Nido Bay.
- 02
Catch of the day
Getting Stamped lists fresh fish grilled or baked in banana leaf.
- 03
Quieter than town
It sits outside the centre, so the evening is calmer than Calle Hama.

How to experience it
Cadlao Resort's own site places the resort on the shore at Sitio Caalan, minutes from El Nido town, with views of Cadlao Island and El Nido Bay, and mentions a beachfront restaurant listed there as Jinjer Restaurant. Other guides call it Cadlao Restaurant, so use the resort name when asking for directions.
Getting Stamped describes international dishes: pork ribs, squid a la plancha, seafood curry, a catch of the day grilled or baked in banana leaf, and mango crepes. El Nido Tourism calls it probably the best restaurant in town but gives no menu. Treat the dishes as pointers, since menus change.
A sunset table is the main reason to come. Ask the resort whether the kitchen can make simple vegetarian dishes; none of our sources list a vegetarian menu, so do not assume one. Book a tricycle return before you sit down.
Plan with confidence
Small checks that make a better meal.
