The short answer

When to go to Jog Falls

July to September is the time to see Jog Falls at full strength, with June and October as good shoulder months. Expect heavy rain, mist and slippery paths in mid-season, and bring a rain jacket. From November to May the flow is much reduced and the dam can cut it further, so only go then for the surrounding scenery, temples and birds. For older visitors, early mornings are best in every season.
