Easy transfers to and in Munger
- Hire one car and driver for the day so you have shade and a seat between stops, especially for Sita Kund and Bhimbandh.
- Sunrise or sunset at Kashtaharni Ghat is calmer and cooler than midday; steps to the water have no railings in places, so take care.
- Carry water, snacks and any medication; facilities at Sita Kund and the sanctuary are limited.
- Ask the airline or railway for wheelchair or porter assistance when you book, not on the day.
- Pre-book the pickup from the airport or station, so nobody has to negotiate with drivers after a long journey.
- Choose arrivals in daylight where you can, and keep the first afternoon free to rest.
