Easy transfers to and in Rayadurgam

  • Fixed visitor facilities such as toilets, cafes and seating at the fort are not published, so assume none and carry what you need.
  • Hire a car with driver for the day trips. Roads to Konakondla, Gooty and Kundurpi are long, and public transport links are infrequent.
  • Carry cash in small notes, because small shops and stalls may not take digital payments reliably, and ATMs are fewer than in larger towns.
  • Ask the airline or railway for wheelchair or porter assistance when you book, not on the day.
  • Pre-book the pickup from the airport or station, so nobody has to negotiate with drivers after a long journey.
  • Choose arrivals in daylight where you can, and keep the first afternoon free to rest.
