Pacing
Pacing a Damoh trip for parents and children
- Hire a car with a driver; sights beyond the town are spread out and public transport is thin.
- Plan one outing a day with a rest after lunch.
- Singorgarh and the reserve are rough with no facilities; carry water and snacks.
- Kundalpur and Nohta are easier, with steps only at the main hill shrine.
- Confirm access to Singorgarh and the tiger reserve before you travel.
- Avoid April to June, when ruins offer no shade and temperatures are very high.
