Easy transfers to and in Murudeshwar
- The temple grounds are mostly paved and level, but the stone is hot underfoot at midday. Go early or late, and carry socks if the temple allows them in the courtyard.
- A boat trip to Netrani involves a transfer into a small boat and a rough sea in places. It suits fit travellers only; most seniors will prefer the shore.
- Ask the airline or railway for wheelchair or porter assistance when you book, not on the day.
- Pre-book the pickup from the airport or station, so nobody has to negotiate with drivers after a long journey.
- Choose arrivals in daylight where you can, and keep the first afternoon free to rest.
