Nha Trang's local dishes include banh can (small rice-flour cakes), banh hoi and banh xeo; Wikivoyage points to the central market area for them. These and the local noodle soups normally come with seafood, pork or fish sauce, so they are not vegetarian unless you ask, and even then broths are often meat-based. Look for signs reading 'chay' or 'com chay', which mark Buddhist vegetarian restaurants. HappyCow lists about ten plant-based places in town. We opened the listings for three that qualified: iVegan Supershop (a vegan-focused plant-based cafe), Phyto Bistro (a vegan-focused Western-style bistro) and Am Thuc Chay Bo De Sao (a Buddhist-style vegetarian restaurant). We found no verified Indian restaurant or Jain kitchen. Wikivoyage mentions the Sailing Club on Tran Phu serves some Indian dishes among others, but it is a mixed-menu venue and we have not listed it. Ask your hotel in advance for simple vegetarian meals, say 'khong nuoc mam' (no fish sauce) and 'khong thit' (no meat), and do not expect a Jain guarantee. Restaurant hours change, so check before you go.

Menus and kitchens change. If you follow a strict diet or have an allergy, confirm with the restaurant before you order.
