Nusa Dua is a hotel-restaurant town, and food here comes in three layers: resort dining rooms, a few restaurants in Bali Collection and the ITDC area, and cheaper local places in Benoa and along Jalan Pratama. For Indian visitors the practical answer is Jalan Pratama and the Bali Collection, where several Indian restaurants cook North and South Indian dishes. Few kitchens are verifiably fully vegetarian: Shiv Shakti is described as vegetarian but has a note about meat, and Udupi Pure Veg should not be assumed to be meat-free, so none of these carry a Pure Veg tag here.

What can be verified is smaller. The Royal Kitchen Bali in Bali Collection, Nu Delhi in Benoa and Udupi Pure Veg list clearly marked vegan dishes, and Garlic Restaurant in the ITDC area has marked vegan dishes on an Indonesian and Chinese menu. Jain diners should ask each restaurant directly about no-onion, no-garlic cooking; none is confirmed here. Indonesian staples such as nasi goreng, gado-gado, tempeh and tofu are widely available and can be made without meat or egg, but ask about fish sauce and shrimp paste. Stick to bottled or filtered water.

Menus and kitchens change. If you follow a strict diet or have an allergy, confirm with the restaurant before you order.
