Easy transfers to and in Salher

  • Skip the summit climbs; enjoy the base temples and the drive through the hills.
  • Carry plenty of water, snacks and any medicines; there are no chemists at the forts.
  • Hire a car with a driver rather than relying on buses between villages.
  • Share your plan with someone and carry a charged phone and offline map.
  • Ask the airline or railway for wheelchair or porter assistance when you book, not on the day.
  • Pre-book the pickup from the airport or station, so nobody has to negotiate with drivers after a long journey.
  • Choose arrivals in daylight where you can, and keep the first afternoon free to rest.
