Patha Bhavana and the Open-Air Classes

The school Rabindranath Tagore began in 1901, still known for teaching under trees. You see it as a visitor from the paths, not as an attraction, but it explains the point of Santiniketan better than any museum.

    Time needed
    30 to 60 minutes
    Walking
    Easy
    Best time
    Weekday mornings in term time
    Tickets
This is a working school, not a ticketed monument; access to the campus may be restricted at times. Ask at the gate, do not enter classes, and avoid photographing students.
