- Chandreh Shiva Temple and Matha (Places of worship · 1 to 2 hours) — Mostly level ground around a small site, with uneven village paths and little seating or shade. The village has limited facilities, so older visitors should carry water and plan a car drop-off.
- Ghoghra Chandi Mata Temple (Places of worship · 30 to 60 minutes) — Expect a simple village shrine with limited seating, shade and toilets. The approach roads may be rough, so travel by car and avoid the middle of the day in summer.
Some walking — plan a break (3)
- Dubri Wildlife Sanctuary (Places to visit · Half a day to a full day, combined with a Sanjay safari) — Same conditions as Sanjay: a seated jeep on rough tracks, no toilets en route and cold early mornings. Facilities inside are basic, so older visitors should confirm the route and rest houses in advance.
- Sanjay National Park (Places to visit · Two safaris (morning and evening) minimum; a full 2 nights is better) — Safaris are seated jeep rides on rough forest tracks, with bumps, dust and no toilets en route. Getting in and out of a high gypsy is hard for people with knee or back problems; ask whether a canter or a gentler zone is available. Winter mornings are cold in an open vehicle.
- Son Gharial Wildlife Sanctuary (Places to visit · 2 to 3 hours as a river-bank visit) — Banks can be uneven, sandy and slippery, with little shade, seating or toilets. Choose a calm stretch, go with a local guide or driver, and avoid steep banks if mobility is limited.

Practical tips for Sidhi
- Heat. April to June is very hot, with May averaging above 42 C by day. Do outdoor activities at dawn and rest through the afternoon.
- Monsoon. July to September brings very heavy rain. Roads and forest access are uncertain, so confirm any closure with the Field Director's office.
- Getting around. Hire a car with driver. Public transport to Chandreh and the forest is limited, and signage is sparse.
- Booking. Safaris are booked online, with a limited quota for walk-ins. Book early and carry your ID.
- Facilities. Services outside Sidhi are limited. Carry water, snacks, medicines and cash.
- Dress. Wear dull, earthy colours in the forest and a warm layer for winter mornings; dress modestly at temples.
- Phone coverage. Signal can be patchy in the forest. Download maps and keep the reserve office number (07822-252409) saved.
- Photography. Ask before photographing people or inside shrines; follow the guide's rules on the safari.
