Easy transfers to and in Genting Highlands
- Both cable cars have enclosed gondolas with seating; check which line is running before you plan the day.
- Chin Swee Caves Temple has many steps and steep paths. Pick one level, carry water and rest often.
- Take out travel insurance with hospital cover; serious medical care is down the hill, so tell your hotel about medicines and conditions on arrival.
- Avoid weekends and school holidays when queues for cable cars, rides and restaurants are long.
- Ask the airline or railway for wheelchair or porter assistance when you book, not on the day.
- Pre-book the pickup from the airport or station, so nobody has to negotiate with drivers after a long journey.
- Choose arrivals in daylight where you can, and keep the first afternoon free to rest.
