Easy transfers to and in Koh Chang
- The coast road has steep hills and sharp bends. Use a hotel transfer or hired car with driver rather than a rented scooter.
- Carry travel insurance that covers medical care and evacuation; ask your hotel for the nearest clinic and confirm hospital options on the mainland before you go.
- Ask the airline or railway for wheelchair or porter assistance when you book, not on the day.
- Pre-book the pickup from the airport or station, so nobody has to negotiate with drivers after a long journey.
- Choose arrivals in daylight where you can, and keep the first afternoon free to rest.
