Easy transfers to and in Ajman
- Use taxis between sights, and keep the hotel's address in Arabic and English on your phone.
- Carry travel insurance and a medication list. Check where the nearest hospital is, and note that Thumbay Medicity is a large private hospital campus in Al Jurf.
- Dress modestly: cover shoulders and knees in public places, and carry a light scarf for mosques and cold air-conditioned rooms.
- Ask the airline or railway for wheelchair or porter assistance when you book, not on the day.
- Pre-book the pickup from the airport or station, so nobody has to negotiate with drivers after a long journey.
- Choose arrivals in daylight where you can, and keep the first afternoon free to rest.
