Food in Ajman is Gulf Arabic, Lebanese and above all South Asian, because many residents come from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. Arabic coffee with dates is the local welcome. For vegetarian visitors the city is easier than most of the Gulf: we could verify three pure-vegetarian Indian restaurants, Desi Vibes and Sasya in Al Rashidiya and Veg Corner at the Thumbay Medicity food court in Al Jurf, and directory listings name several more South Indian and North Indian vegetarian places. India House Veg Restaurant in Al Owan is also listed as pure vegetarian by Holidify.
We could not verify any restaurant in Ajman that is dedicated to Jain food, or any vegan-only restaurant, so we have not tagged any. Jain and vegan diners should ask about onion, garlic and root vegetables, ghee and dairy each time, and ask hotels to prepare plain meals in advance.
