Boracay's food is mostly Filipino, seafood-heavy and international, with restaurants of many cuisines clustered around D'Mall and Station 2. Vegetarian and Jain options are limited, and we have not been able to verify any restaurant that is fully vegetarian or Jain. Two Indian restaurants, Little Taj in D'Mall and Royal Indian Curry House at Station 1, are listed with an Indian tag, and Little Taj also has marked vegan dishes; both cook meat too, so ask what can be made without meat, egg, onion and garlic.

To manage as a vegetarian, ask your hotel in advance about vegetable, rice, egg-free and plain noodle dishes, and choose resorts with in-house kitchens that are willing to cook on request. Fruit, especially Philippine mangoes, is an easy and safe breakfast. Always confirm that sauces do not contain fish sauce or shrimp paste, and be careful with soups and fried rice, which often use meat stock. Carry packaged snacks from home or the mainland for emergencies. Drink bottled or filtered water.

Menus and kitchens change. If you follow a strict diet or have an allergy, confirm with the restaurant before you order.
